Page views up and visits way up over July due almost entirely to global interest in the lyrics to Hiphopopotamus vs. Rhymenocerous, which ranks as the top post for the second consecutive month. Visits up, page views down, and more than 200 people across the globe now aware of the lyrics to Hiphopopotamus vs. Rhymenoceros. So says Google Analytics for the month that was July. Not bad considering the Internet-free lull following our move at the beginning of the month. “Lifetime” stats start on Feb. 13, 2007.

Still no Internet access in the new house. No cable TV, either. Arrggghhh! My eyeballs and branium are dangerously under-stimulated! Must read feeds! Must blog! Must play Desktop TD!
Alas, the June stats report must go on, via Google Analytics. “Lifetime” stats start on Feb. 13, 2007, when I launched the old Blogger-powered site.

Noticeable increases in page views (up 66.7 percent) and visit depth (up 124 percent) following my mid-month switch from Blogger to WordPress, despite a roughly two-week period during which I hardly posted. Then again, when you’re at the bottom, there’s nowhere to go but up.
