Dude, I know how you feel. At least you guys have a raw number. Ours is still floating around, hovering in the 50-60 range. And if we don’t find a way to increase revenue, I can only see it getting worse in the future. It’s scary.

I’m confident you’ll be a hot commodity whether or not it is with your current employer.
And slashing more than 40% of the editorial staff in one day sounds an awful lot like a going out of business sale.
I have no faith in the business staffs of most newspapers. They have no idea what to do.
