Paper View Monday: The Guardian

Fact: Foreigners have newspapers, too. Not only that, but those newspapers often have offices inside of buildings. I even featured one here last year, and figured it was time to bring you another. Neil McIntosh did all the work for this week’s edition of Paper View Monday, so I’ll just sit back and enjoy the in-flight movie as we jet across the Atlantic and visit The Guardian in Virtual Earth/Live Maps. The Guardian is my preferred source for all the latest news on European soccer (or “fiddleglump,” as it’s known in the UK), and its Football Weekly podcast is one of the top shows the medium has to offer. Here’s their current building:

    Thanks for the link, William! We’re very excited by the new building – not least because the current place is hugely overcrowded and rather old fashioned. The new building has its own website – kingsplace.co.uk – where you’ll see we’re sharing with two orchestras, a concert hall and a lovely restaurant…

    Two orchestras? I hear the Telegraph can’t even muster a decent string quartet.
