Daily del.icio.us links blog thingy busted?
By William M. Hartnett on Mar 28, 2008 in geekery
Anyone using WordPress and the daily blog posting feature of del.icio.us notice that the thingy appears to have stopped working in the past week or so? Or is it just me who broked the Internet? Speaking of which, a link courtesy of Matt Wensing: Down for everyone or just me?

I got my instructions from theory.isthereasson.com (It appears down now) but it’s not working for me. I just recently set it up so I don’t know if I did it wrong or what. Should I get an error report in del.icio.us or anything?

I probably followed those same instructions awhile back. It worked without trouble until last week, but then just started working again today. We’ll see if it continues.

@William: What category did it put your in? How exactly does this work does it post all links added since the last time ran into a single blog post?

IIRC, the category bit is optional. Mine just go into one called “daily links.” It runs once a day at the time you set, and puts all the links you bookmarked in the previous day in a post like this one.

Every day when I go to the daily post page it says “results:new job — nothing yet”. What does yours say? It’s like it’s never getting ran.
