Paper View Monday: Knoxville News Sentinel
By William M. Hartnett on Dec 24, 2007 in newspaper buildings
It’s the day before Christmas, and I think you would be hard pressed to find a more appropriate subject for this week’s holiday edition of Paper View Monday than, um, the Knoxville News Sentinel. OK, so I couldn’t come up with an actual Christmas theme. Still, it looks like a nice building, and oblique coverage of Knoxville was added to Virtual Earth/Live Maps only a few days ago. Also, Jack Lail, whose name you’ll see over to the right in my blogroll, works there. So, there you are. Merry Christmas and all that.

Cool. It’s often hard to map the News Sentinel because the street was renamed when the building was opened.
This plant opened in 2002 and cost roughly $50 million.
It is a nice building.
We were more downtown at this location. It’s just a vacant lot now.
