I see from the keyword referrals that some folks are winding up at my original Hiphopopotamus vs. Rhymenoceros video post while searching for the lyrics to this amazingly brilliant, gritty urban rap by Flight of the Conchords. Thanks to Will for posting these lyrics, and yes, off the actual HBO broadcast these lyrics are dead on- granted on the album they do add a verse, but he wasn’t talking about the album, now was he? I didn’t think so….

The title of this post is “More Hiphopopotamus vs. Rhymenoceros: HBO VERSION LYRICS.” The video at the top of this post is THE HBO VERSION OF THE SONG. The introduction to this post says, “These lyrics are specifically from THE VERSION FEATURED ON THE HBO SHOW.” There are two comments, written by me a year apart, that note these lyrics ARE FROM THE FLIPPIN’ VERSION OF THE FLIPPIN’ SONG THAT WAS PERFORMED ON THE FLIPPIN HBO SHOW.
So maybe, just maybe, you might have by now realized that the lyrics above ARE FROM THE VERSION OF THE SONG AS PERFORMED ON THE HBO SHOW.
