Paris doing hard time compared to similar offenders

The Los Angeles Times finds that if Paris Hilton stays locked up for 23 days of her 45-day sentence, she’ll have done more time than 80 percent of offenders in similar circumstances. (A drunk driving arrest followed by a probation violation or driving without a license.) The Times deserves a prize simply for finding a way to use computer-assisted reporting in a story about Paris Hilton.
