Google Maps imagery update

Google Maps Mania reports a big satellite imagery update, including new high resolution coverage in parts of Europe, Japan and Canada. U.S. locations with new imagery include Yellowstone National Park, Washington, D.C., St. Paul, Minn., Houston and, apparently, the entire state of Alabama. The Alabama coverage is good news if, like me, you’ve been wondering whether, from space, Flea Market Montgomery is, in fact, just like a mini-mall. (Judge for yourself.) Still waiting for the site where our new house stands nearly complete to look like more than a barren expanse of sand.
