Did pirates really say “arrrr?”

Just try to tell me you haven’t always wondered about this: Did pirates really say “arrrr?” No, apparently, though “pirates were known to dress in loose clothing, guzzle rum and smash the empty bottles, and chase busty wenches through Caribbean ports.”

I think no no wait .I know that pirates didn’t say arrr or walked the plank or anything.Because i went to st. augustine lighthouse and they talked all about it or you could just believe me cause .And they also talked about moon cussers(i’ll define that for you just in case).Ok moon cussers would be the pirates liked to wave there lamps behind the sand dunes and trick the people on the ships so they would come and anchor and take a rest but they would crash on the dunes and the pirates would invade the ships.So on nights of full moon the pirates would cuss at the moon be cause the people could see there lamps behind the sand dunes. that’s it byr
