This is just unacceptable

As a native Floridian, I’m not at all happy about the weather outlook in Cleveland, where I’ll be through the weekend for the CAR Conference. Compare that to the forecast here in West Palm Beach, and you’ll understand why I’m so upset.
Snow? What the hell do I know about snow? Do I need special equipment? Sled dogs? The ratio of flip-flip to traditional shoe in my closet tells me I’m not adequately prepared for temperatures below 75, much less the teens.
They did this to me last year, too, when the conference was in Newark. This year’s IRE Conference is in Phoenix in June, which can’t be all that pleasant, either. Couldn’t we have done Phoenix in March and Cleveland in June? Please, I have sensitive skin. (You know who’s on a convention-location roll? AAJA. Last year’s site: Honolulu. This year’s site: Miami.)
